Chicago Independent Venue League is excited to partner with DCASE for a FREE concert downtown at Millennium Park. On July 14th @ 5pm, we are thrilled to present a lineup that speaks to Chicago artistry and the local independent venues that provide a platform for that expression. Come hang on the lawn at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion to enjoy performances from Mario Abney & The Abney Effect Brass Band, Tasha, and headliner, Ric Wilson, who was named “everyone’s favorite Chicago-based music artist, organizer, and activist" by Essence. All you have to do is show up! No tickets. No online ordering.
